Virtual Therapy Sessions for Women in California

This protective space is intended for Filipino, Asian American & Pacific Islander women who identify as one of the following:

  • New graduate students and registered AMFTs/ASWs entering the mental health field who want to make sense of their own healing journeys while working with their clients

  • First-time mothers who want to break intergenerational patterns of self abandonment and silence while raising their little ones.

  • Trauma survivors who are trying to process their experiences and develop coping strategies so that they can show up in their relationships and careers as best they can.

In my therapy practice, many of my clients are the children of immigrants who come to me with histories of sexual assault, domestic violence, childhood emotional neglect and the shared historical trauma of living under Capitalism, White Supremacy and Patriarchy.

My clients experience symptoms of depression, anxiety and have trouble maintaining meaningful honest relationships with others. They tend to have overwhelming feelings of self-doubt, low self worth and may even experience suicidal thoughts or have a history of self harm.

During my therapy sessions, I utilize a mind-body-spirit approach to symptom relief. My framework for treatment is an integrative model inspired by traditional Filipino spirituality, Jungian - Buddhist - Somatic - Liberation and Integral Psychology.

As therapy progresses, my clients are able to tap into the transformational power of their emotions, increase their level of self-awareness and feel confident when expressing their needs and setting boundaries with loved ones.
